I want to start a blog simply because I want a way to express my feelings and thought. I always feel that writing is a great way for me to organize my thoughts and calms me down in chaotic situations.
It's been three months since I have been back in Hong Kong. I must say that this place changes very rapidly, to a point that I can't recognize some of the places. Having been in Vancouver for the past 10 years, I found that Hong Kong people are so fast-paced. Everything is aimed at instant gratification. It's hard for people to slow down and enjoy life anymore. People may think it's a waste of time to sit at a coffee shop, sipping coffee and quietly reading a book. Or this act is simply much too pretentious.
I used to think Canadians are too slow, and they do not aim to be better... they are much to content with life. But now I feel that this may be their strength. At least they will have a much higher quality of life....

Despite all the things mentioned above... I still want to start my post-graduate life here... I feels like a great place to start my adulthood because I feel that I would be challenged. If I don't work hard or keep up with everyone's pace I would be elimiated. That's a great adventure, isn't it?
