Beautiful British Columbia

I am home! It's so great that I am finally home after 2 years. It is nice to see my family and relax a bit; away from the craziness of Hong Kong. When I planned to come home last year, I had a whole list of To-Do items. But now that I'm back, I feel that the best way to spend my time in Vancouver is just to spend my time with my family. I may not have the perfect family but every family has a different story; mine may be crazy at times, but I believe that we love each other deep down.

I am still waiting for the good news from the school I applied to. I am really hoping for a miracle...

    I have not been reading your blog for quite some time. It is good to see that you are re-visiting your sweet home. Frustration in life is a norm. Without frustration, there will not be true happiness when a hurdle is overcome. Keep fighting. You have my support.

      Thank you for your encouragement Bill. I just received news that I am rejected by CityU and I must say I am very disappointed. For a moment, it feels like my dreams to become a barrister crumbled in front of me. However, you are right! Happiness and appreciation come when we overcome hurdles in our lives. I will try to get the best out of the my current situation and continue on with my current school. Since I quit my job, I will be able to get some internship experiences when I am back in HK.

      Btw, I see from your blog that your daughter is in HK as well. I wish her the best of luck.
